Are You waiting new "lord of the ring" in 2007

as far as i know, it is a trilogy movie???? there are they have been release three movie lord of the ring, thats why they call it a trilogy. but if they have a new lord of the ring, of course i want to watching it soon

Are they making one? I was not aware of that. Who's the director? I am a LOTR fan so it'll be nice to see another movie on the epic. Whether it is prequel or sequel. There are just so many side-stories and sub-storylines to explore... just have to find one that's worth making into a movie, I suppose.
