who is the captian for world cup 2007?

I think Saurav Ganguly is the best ever captain india has ever had.... but for the World Cup I'll prefer Rahul to be the skipper coz there is no time to change a skipper... it'll have a bad effect on the team... Let's see how Dravid performs his task.... last time sourav took the team to the Final...

well i dont think that the selectors are planning to make ganguly as the captain..so dravid would be the captain..but i think that if india wants to win this world cup then they should go for ganguly as the captain..

I Guess its better to make Ganguly as captain for world cup 2007. He carries lots of experience with him and he is also a lucky captain. Nowadays, Dravid is not performing well as a captain. So they next chance would be Ganguly and he will suerly perform well.

My preference would be Rahul.I think he is one the best captains India has ever had.I think Gangualy is also good but chappel will not allow him to lead :(

this is a stupid question. it is disscused so many time here in mylot.ofcorse it is dravid who will be the captain for india.

ofcourse they will stick over with rahul dravid only.. ganguly may be havingsome opportunity as a captain.. but he itself refused to be a captain to do. Then sachin its impossible to be a captain again..

rahul dravid must be made the captain as changin the captain at this time would affect the mentality within the team and lead to disastrous results..

i think most probably this west indies tour could well be the deccciding factor on who should be the captain for the world cup
