Do men really talk because they are bored?

My daughter's youth pastor told me that sometimes men say stupid things because when they are bored they talk. At first I thought that was inaccurate, but the more I think about it the more I think it may be true. What do you think?

I think that is true. If you think about some of the stupid things they do say and when they say them. It could be because they are bored. If they have something to entertain them they usually don't want to talk.

I haven't heard that before. The more I think about it though the more I think that it's true LOL
