Why should a person be called matured when he/she is just of 18?

Can anyone explains me that why a person is called matured person when he/she is just of 18. I have seen many of the people who are not at all matured at this age and many of them matured too before even from this age. Is age a factor?

In my view it is scientificly called that the person is matures after 18 beacuse our brain stops growing after 18 dats y after 18 we are totally matured.. wat u think..

How can it be scientifically prooved in according to your view and what about my point I have seen people who are not matured at the age of 18. What about them?

I think 18 years is a long time till then a person know all the good and bad things from life and he know what is goood for him and what is bad.....and this is the age where parents should keep there eyes on there childrens

hi there.. yes i think that at 18, that just dont qualify for a person to be that matured already.. i got to came across with a lot of people at that age, and i know that they were not that matured enough towards everyhing...

that's the normal age limit but it varies for few of them ok

yup age is a factor because some people who aged 18 years old is matured enough to handle the situation and know what is right and wrong....
