Hunting ... a sport ?

A few days ago while watchin TV I have found out that there was a big Hunting Party in my country made for rich people. I find it a little bit disturbing! Hunting. Is it a sport? Or just a way of killing someone with having to pay for it? Will we hunt people one day? Or will we be hunted by other superior creatures?
