Are you for or againts living together before mariage?

me and my boyfriend are going for our 3rd year, and we moved in together in a flat, but my parents isnt to keen about this, they say that its not right, and i asked why and they only said "because". I can understand this, but we are on the boundry of getting engaged.

I feel if you both are adults who are financially independent and are responsible enough to take your own decisions and if you can handle the fallout if anything goes wrong in relationship then you can make your imp. life choices and i feel then youa re can go in for live in relationship. I think girl's parents will always be concerned as they love her and want the best for her and protect her. By the way i am happy for you that you are getting engaged that shows you both are committed. good luck.
