What does that STAR indicates?

Now a day I am seeing a star icon displayed before the user name on mylot discussions. I dont know what is that.

the star is the reputation you have earned in mylot for the discussions and responses you make. accordingly it says nothing about whether you are a good poster or a bad poster. mylot say this is what people think about you. so iguess you get it from the rating people give you, like the + or - ratings or being mark as the best response.
