Are you too busy for MyLot?

Are you too busy to get on MyLot lately? I have been, for a while I was on here every day for like 2-3 hours at a time. I haven't been on for days, though, we've been having 3-4 hours/day overtime at work, school started today and I started on Duno (which used to pay well, but now, not so much...).
I hope I can get some free time soon and come back to MyLot - I miss it!:)

2-3 hours on MyLot? That is a lot of time. Is that all at once or on and off during the day? I spend maybe an hour on and then I go and do stuff, ie. clean the house, work on my book, then I may come back on in the afternoon for an hour. I have too much to do during the day to spend that much time on line.

It's more of on & off, I am usually doing something else at the same time, like taking phone calls for work or watching a movie and typing at the same time.

For your sake, I hope you get more time - and always make sure you eat something! At least grab some fruit on the way to work, an orange or peach or something yummy with water content! I hear you about classes, working and going to school is so rough!

I haven't been really busy, but I have had alot of computer problems the last few weeks so that has cut down on my time on here. Usually though I am very busy this time of year with classes and catching up on things I didn't get done over the holidays.

What kind of classes are you taking? I'm in college, too, taking math, health and communications this semester. That is some wild lipstick! :)

That's such a nice thing to say, thank you! :) I was watching the playoffs until KC lost, that's the only team I really care about. Football is my favorite, I am not a big basketball/baseball fan. What musical are you going to be in and what part are you playing? That does sound like you've got a lot going on - make sure you take time for a deep breath! :)

I only seem to get here every couple of days. Our 8 1/2 month old son has been cutting teeth (he is up to 8 now!), and our oldest (8 years) has been sick all weekend and finally went back to school today. I've wanted to make more time for it, but there never seem to be enough hours in the day!

Sorry to hear about your son's teeth, poor baby :( I hope he and your daughter get to feeling better. Our schools (Kansas) have been getting it easy, they had 3 days off (incld. today) thanks to the snow we've been getting. Too bad the same doesn't go for work, ha ha! :)

How are you liking your new job? What kind of work are you doing? Do you like it more than your old job? Hang in there, it gets better. January through April is our "peak season" so I'll be running around crazy for awhile - they even have me doing 8 hours of overtime on Saturday - sheesh!

I don't like Duno. I did at first, when I had $6 on there. Then they changed the rates (lowered them) and now not everyone gets paid, you're in a drawing, so you could post 100 times and still not win. Screw that! I'd rather hang out on MyLot.

I can say that I am busy with my work but I use my break time at work to get on to mylot. I want to use my time wisey and profitable, so I give my 30 minutes out of my one hour break to get on to mylot. I just hope I have my own internet connection so I can do mylot even my dayoff.

30 minutes a day is good - the best way is to use the 1/2 hour to your best advantage, start new discussions. You can always find some time later to respond.

I haven't been able to get back into a grrove with anything since the holiday. I used to be on myLot for a couple of hours a day just like you. I've also been neglecting my blogs during the past 3 weeks. I have updated but not nearly as frequently as I was before the holiday. I have actually spent most of my time taking pictures and uploading them to flickr. I have been trying to come back here though and today was the first time I spent longer then 30 minutes here.

I don't know what flickr is. I don't have blogs but I have heard they are fun (but also time consuming). I can't get on MyLot for 3 hours a day like I used to because I am SOOOOOO busy with work and school, it's a freakin' madhouse! I just want five to ten free minutes to read a book that *I* want to read, or to relax. But I've got too much work to do for that, if I take five minutes it just means I'm going to have to work that much harder to stay caught up, it sucks!

I have dial-up so I know what you mean - GRR. It's so slow, esp. when I try to post pictures, or if I have a topic that is more than 3 or 4 paragraphs long.

I spend some time in reading discussions and responding to the dicussions in mylot, but i won't say I'm too busy for it. At work, I'll just surf around here when I wanna take a break. Or at home, I'll surf around here together with some other sites. I'm not sure how much time I've spent here, coz I just leave the site on whenever I'm connected to Internet.

It's usually on when I'm at work, too. But I try to close it out after an hour or so because I have to do my homework - if I stay on MyLot it won't get done - just like today, I'm supposed to be reading a chapter for my health class right now! :(

I think that would defeat the purpose of MyLot. Think about it, how hard have the good posters on here worked to make it where you have to post something with significance and hopefully spelled correctly? If it were easier, then people would just post whatever they wanted, "hi I'm Sue" or "I like dogs" and get paid and there wouldn't be any GOOD conversations. I know it's time consuming but I also find it to be fun, I enjoy getting on MyLot it's kind of relaxing and then of course, there always the big violent disputes, which are fun, to argue back and forth.

20 questions a day was my original goal. Lately, I've been making 20 posts a day and just struggling to respond back to all the people who've responded to me. I haven't gone and responded to anyone else's discussions (I usually start with the "discussions with no responses") in a couple of weeks.

I still don't know what goldage is. Do you have dial-up, that's probably why your computer and internet connection is slow. When I'm at home, it takes forever to post and it's hard to post pictures, but when I'm at work, it's a lot faster b/c they have DSL (and I dialup at home).

I think that's how it works for most people, you find out about MyLot, see how cool it is, post a ton of questions and then after awhile it sort of tapers off. I'm not on here nearly as much as I was the first week I heard about this, ha ha :)

I dont know why they giving as a hard time to get 1$ its take 100 entry of response and the paragraph line is about 4 lines to have some point,I dont feel more interest to response it was a hard time I try to other site may be there some fair rating, try Duno.com.

??? I really can't understand what you're trying to say. I think MyLot wants to have posts which are actually worth something. You can't use one word answers all of the time and expect to get paid for it. I have about 850 posts and I have made $45. The way I see it, I'm on the computer anyway and I'm bored, why not make money for it?

100 posts a day is very large goal! I'm lucky if I post 20 questions a day. I think it's more important to start a lot of discussions, maybe pick one hour to post questions and then one hour to respond to other people's topics and then one hour to respond to people who responded to you. That's all I can do at a time, it's usually 3 hours a week, though not 3 hours a day.

My laptop has no internet connection except my home desktop. Sometimes I check my mail at college, so I have to balance my time between my mail and MyLot.

That's the problem with me, I spend so much time on MyLot that I forget to go through my old emails and then I have hundreds of messages to sort through! :(
