i bet it's Japan cos once i saw a protest on newspaper of people trying to stop their people from eating dogs

i know for sure that chinesse people are eating dogs.i have two dogs at home that i know that in china,the chineese people are reasing them for making food whit them!

Most countries in Asia have one or more tribes that eat dogs,i think it is akind of delicacy in those places.If you are a dog lover don't even go near there

I can think of worse things to eat. Take, for instance, possum which I understand are eaten in part the of the United States. And THAT is one ugly nasty gross creature.

yes, there are countries and in ours, there are provinces who are open to eating dogs, and they even let one tv station cover what they do and other procedures they do when they cook them. i think its really horrible.

Dogs meat they say is a delicasy , well i have never tasted it and do not intend to do so but they do eat the meat in china i am told

Believe or not, you all are fairly right. Vietnam, Hong Kong, China mainland, parts of Philippines, and if I'm not mistaken parts of Southern Thailand, Laos and Myanmar have quite a number of people eating dogs. I have no idea how it's taste like, but I've heard from my friends in China saying they are quite heavy in terms of the smell of it which I honestly cannot imagine myself eating it unless I get tricked into eating it. Chinese always believe certain foods are helpful and every animal with their backs facing the sky is a food. I guess that's why you don't see them eat humans or Gorillas, but nearly all other animal on the planet. I'm not sure about India or the African countries, but I believe of course in the developed Western countries, Islamic countries, definitely these practice doesn't exist. I think if there's poverty, there's a chance people will resort to eating dogs for food as survival. I'm totally against people who eat dogs as in day-in and day-out, and I would like to apologize if anything i say in this discussion is a bit offensive.

philippines is one, some guys eat dogs, they said it's yummy, but i havnt tried it.

I belive in the Philipines as someone else said. And even Philipinos in the US. I had a Philipino friend who told me that her mom cooked their pet dog for dinner once. I was so grossed out.

I really don't know, but I think there's a state in India where people eat dogs. States like Nagaland or Mizoram are the states in India where people eat dogs. I am not sure but that's what few nagas told me.
