Do you treasure your countries historical places? Do you visit them often? Have you read about your country's history?
I am asking these questions because though I live in a very small island, it is rich with its historical past. There are many historical places that I have not visited yet. Hope'll I have the chance when I retire from work.

I would love to. I do make it a point to visit one once a year or once in two years. I would love to visit them more often but engagements do not permit the same. I feel its one of the important places that you should ensure your kids visit.

I love history. The past is so fascinating. It can be so much fun. It has affected the way the world is today. I like visiting historical sites. It connects us with our past. It makes it more real for me. Here in the southern United States there are people that like to relive the past. They are enactors They take a civil or revolutionary battle and replay it where it actually happened. The public is invited to watch. You can visit with the actors and learn more about the way people lived at that time.

I'm from a very small town where a lot of major historical things occured. A lot of civil war battles occured around my home, and even where I attend college. My college now stands where a Fort stood during a civil war. Everywhere I got seems to deal with something historical, but since I am from this area, it doesn't seem so appealing to me. I have however, visited historical sites from other states.
