Xylitol is a sugar alcohol that's used as a low-calorie substitute in diabetic-friendly foods, some chewing gums, toothpastes and other products. I don't use it myself but I know that a lot of people do. What about you? Do you use xylitol? Do you go out of your way to avoid sugar alcohols like xylitol? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I personally dont use sugar substitutes. The reason why is because you always hear that they arent as good for you as you really think. I wouldnt even recommend it to people who are diabetic. I think they should just avoid the substitute and get used to a sugar free diet. Just like anything else. Something that is good for you know, always seems to be bad for you later on. Good Topic.
