Yeah, Sessuhamaro from Inuyasha, is favorite of mine too.
And I like Goku from Dragonball Z, Kanou Keisuke from Hungry Heart the Wild striker.

OK, but I haven't watched them, but had a glimpse of Samurai 7 in Animax India, and looked cool. And rest, I will try them later.

My top favorites would be:
1- Dragonball Z
2- Ghostfighter
3- Fushigi Yuugi
4- One Piece
