I speak 2, English and French but I understand most of Spanish and can speak some. My 4yo speaks English and Spanish, sometimes in the same sentence which is pretty common where I live, lol.

English is my native language and I speak it fluently, most of the time... lol
I know enough German to ask directions or order at a resturant. I lived there for a couple of years in the Army, but I'm not good at speaking it.

Being an Indian, I can speak my native tongue "Hindi" very well. Apart from that I can speak English which is a universal language. But here in India we do have different languages for different cultures. If you could add to that, I can speak 3/4 out of them.

Well my attention span keep me from finishing what I start in regards to other languages, but I speak intermediate French and I can speak, read and write basic Japanese. Watashi wa nihongo ga sukoshi wakarimasu! (I speak a little Japanese)lol. I spent 4 years in Japan and I should know a lot more than I do. :_( But I do hope to study Japanese in a school setting some time in the future.

i am a filipino.. philippines is an archipelago, the reason why every region in here speaks differently.. our official language is called filipino, the majority of us speaks tagalog and most filipinos [luckily] can speak and understand english, although some are not that good..
as i have said, every region speaks differently than the other.. in our place, the dialect we are using is called 'hiligaynon' which can be akeanon, ilonggo, kinaray-a.. i speak kinaray-a, that is my primary dialect.. i speak ilonggo as well, tagalog, and english.. ey, i can speak a very little of italian, too! "parlo solo un poco italiano...."

I am an American, and I was born and raised speaking English. I started to learn French when I was 11, but I don't speak it as much anymore. I took up learning Japanese when I was 18, and that is my favorite language thusfar. Since I don't know anyone that speaks it, I just think to myself in Japanese at times. That is the hardest part about foreign languages for me -- finding someone to practice with.
