who is the first president in your country?

My Country is Indonesia, and my first president is Soekarno. he is a good men and until now a lot of people in my country still honor to him. so who is the first president in your country and are people in your country still remember?

i am from America. ANd our first president was George Washington. He is studied so much in schools and is read about in books that I believe every american knows and remembers who our first president was. His picture is even on our 1 dollar bill. Best of luck to you !
