Yup, I definitely have read it. I really liked reading the book. I loved all the twists in it, although it still had that classic John Grisham style to it by not really putting an end to the story but then allowing the reader to actually create a story of his own.

I haven't read the book but I saw the movie. I had to watch a DVD copy because I couldn't fully comprehend the dialog in that movie. As I came to finish my second viewing, that's how I got to understand the story. I'm looking forward to reading it, although I've read other John Grisham novels like The King of Torts and The Client.

I have read the book Pelican Brief by John Grisham. I thought the book starts off very promising, but then soon looses the pace and then meanders to a weak ending. I also think there was a movie based on the novel which was not very successful. If you do want to read the complete review of the novel check it out at: http://www.epinions.com/content_169658650244 I think the best two efforts of John Grisham were "The Firm" and "A Time to Kill". Cheers! Ram

No other book of John Grisham comes close to "The Pelican Brief" in giving an entertaining thriller with great depth. It is the best John Grisham book I've read and I've read quite a few, though not all of his books.

It is really one of his best, it has action, and thrills by the bunch. It is well writen and a fast pace fun read. Filled with legal, political conspiracies it holds depth as well.
