What should be the basis for making friends?

Can you judge who can be your friend? How can one decide?

i cant the exact reason for making friends. But i dont only believe in making friends with similar thoughts or feelings.Because a talkitive one cant make a friend of similar one, he needs one who listens to him, the same way as others. Its just the matter of comfort, you only make friends with one with whom you are feeling comportable.

Thanks Buddy... Its very true that people with different behaviour and opinion can also be very good freinds. My husband and me is one such example
