Enough water needs to be taken with creatine. If people don't have enough water with creatine it can cause hypertension(high blood pressure). Studies have shown the hypertension from not drinking enough water when on creatine can lead to anger issues. All brands of creatine are not alike. Thats what i've learned over the years when taken a variety of brands and have some detailed experiences of some I remember. Some of them were bad and some of the them just felt awesome while being full of energy.

I've taken Creatine Ethyl Ester now constantly for a full year, without any side effects whatsoever.
It's a newer 'version' of regular Creatine Monohydrate, (in fact, its Creatine Mono, with an Ethyl Ester attatched to increase the Creatine's bio-availability), which manages to do away with most of the usual side effects of Creatine Monhohydrate, such as bloating for example.
This is because what causes all the side effects from normal Creatine Mono, is actually the by-product of the Creatine ~ called Creatinine ~ which occurrs from Creatine which has not been fully absorbed into the muscles.
Because Creatine Ethyl Ester is much more bio-availale (absorbs into the body much more quickly), less of the nasty, toxic by-product, Creatinine, is formed in your body, causing less bloating, and more importantly less likelihood of damage to the liver etc.
I'm not a scientist by any means, just an amateur female bodybuilder with personal experience of both the Creatine Mono and Creatine Ethyl Ester, and iv extremely satisfied that CreatineEE has led to less side effects than the Mono i took previously, and has allowed me to do away with cycling and loading, as these are unnecessary with CEE.
I hope this helps you guys a little! xxx

more tests have been done on creatine than any other sports supplement, there are no actual side affects if you take it properly, plenty of water and only for a couple months at a time.
by the way the loading phase is a marketing scam, and is completely pointless.
i used to take creatine, it really helped me bulk up, and i have kept that bulk, even after not being able to train for 10 weeks due to an injury, so i would recommend it, i took powder, i have never tried the tablets.
i found it works best if i have it about 45mins before i train.

Creatine...if well taken, your strength can skyrocket but it can cause side effects if not well taken - side effects like bad stomach. But just take 2-3 capsules before training and go hard - you will see the results soon. I use it...

hmm.. i heard you can get pimples from certain brands of creatine. but generally speaking, i think it depends how much you take in. just remember to hydrate yourself regularly when you're taking in creatine.
