Doesn't "expecting the unexpected" make the unexpected expected?

Yup They make the same sense, ie., needless to say that you see these things the other way around, the fact will remain that be ready for unexpected and unknown things to happen in your life without a single hint as to when they are gonna strike you with what blow and from where!

Yes. That's funny and there are more where that came from. What about the saying, "needless to say" right before you say it? "When it rains, it pours".... not if it sprinkles! "When life gives you lemons, make lemonaide", but that would be awfully sour lemonaide without sugar and water! Cool discussion. I wish I could contribute more, but these are the only ones I could think of right now.
