Do you believe in dreams?

A few nights ago I was dreaming about a good friend, one day later he broke his arm in an accident. I've tried to remember the dream and with the help of the internet I found out that I was dreaming exactly this thing. Sometimes our body and our brain are showing us something but you must learn to understand it. What is your opinion apout believing in dreams? How does this whole thing with the R.E.M.-phase works?

Well, I know that R.E.M or Rapid Eye Movement happens after approximative after 30 minutes of sleep, I might be wrong though. In that phase we start to dream and our brain starts to process every data he has in his subconscious. It might be a simple coincidence what you're saying or it could be something else.

Indeed but no one can actually decipher them yet. There are people that say they know what a dog means in a dream and such sort of symbols, but actually it's very hard to know exactly. I described once my dream to someone and in response they gave me a prediction ... it came out totally different. But the best dreams are those that you know that you dream in. You can do whatever you want, move cars with your mind, fly, make things go boom hehe :)

I do believe some dreams give us warning or reminder for what we already know actually but we just can't see it.But I never took it seriously.I had once became real and it hurts. If I about to experience a bad thing then let it be.But waiting one to come and eventually it happen was very frustrating.

I don't really believe in them because I've experienced contradictory examples. It's true, they sometimes coincidentally match the reality, but there are also many times when they don't. I think dreaming is simply a phase of our sleeping time that is required in order to help our subconscious unload itself.

I wish I could believe in my dreams.
But mostly, when I woke up, I never remember what my dreams were.
So, it's a bit useless I guess, huh.
