What is the Weather like were you are from?

I live here in Michigan and the last couple of days we’ve had a very Bad Ice Storm. Michigan weather is just crazy, one minute you have a sheet of ice and the next minute the sun pops out and turns to a beautiful day. I saw on the news that about 24,000 Homes are still without power due to the Ice Storm and, 4 people were killed in this storm in Michigan alone. Are you prepared for any thing like this? What steps would you take to ensure you would make it through something like this? Even so Michigan has some crazy weather I love it here with all the different seasons. Ok I have to admit 2 days of this ice storm is enough for the winter season. So where do you live, and do you like it or would you rather live somewhere else?

I live in Arlington, Texas and boy it snowed a lot here today. Was really surprised to see snow in Texas..of all places..hehe! It's freezing cold outside and the past week has been bad. The snow looks good but the roads are very very bad. I like it here and fortunately haven't experienced extreme weather difficulties like power cuts and the like. I feel bad for those who are going through that now. It must be so incinvenient!

I am from the Philippines. Since it is tropical here, we only have two season here. Hot and rainy season. We've never experienced snow. I guess its best.
