What can i do with children under 12?

This is just one mom's opinion, but I think all the video games, many of today's toys and television have really robbed alot of children of their imaginations We made boats out of folded newspaper and floated them in puddles, ponds and creeks Home made kites were a blast and the anticipation of waiting to see if it would fly was almost unbearable A bide ride and home made picnic was a real treat. We played catch or 500 for hours with just a baseball bat a ball and gloves We had camp outs in the backyard with a weenie roast and marshmallows for desert. A day at the beach was a major treat. sledding and ice skating were free and a ton of fun These are some old fashioned and cheap ideas
