as of right now i am doing tattoos to earn a lil extra money and to pay my bill until i get threw college. i currently have 18 tattoos...i have a half sleeve on my right arm that i did myself and i find people giving me weird looks from time to time, im kinda curious as to what peoples opinions are on tattoos and what people think as soon as they see someone with tattoos. now adays i really dont think its THAT big of a deal, but sometimes its just crazy what people say to me or how they look at me. plus since we are on the topic, alot of people think it limits my options for a career. my goal in life is to be a professional autobody painter and to own my own shop on day. so do u really think if i were to get a job right after college at a body shop that it would limit my chances of getting the job? seriously?

I have 8! And I need some more! I have my 1st sons name on the back of my neck. My daughters name on my wrist with angel wings. I need my 3rd sons name in an equal place, any ideas? I love tats. I was a nurse for 10 years and had no problems getting a job. Dont worry about it!

get it on your other wrist. it will even it out, maybe instead of wings for him get sum nautical stars! im sure when he grows up he will love it. like one nautical to be blue and black and the other red and black! the only other place would be on your upper part of your arms. good luck!

I think it's a shame that others judge people for having tattoos. Everyone is so closed-minded these days about someone looking a little different! I have 5 tattoos and planning on more, and my husband is covered, he has atleast 30? lol.. A lot of jobs do discriminate against people with a lot of visible tattoos. I guess they think that having tattoos makes people lose brain cells or lose the capability to work? My husband has been turned down for a few jobs because of his tattoos. A lot of jobs dont care and I dont think an autobody painter will have too much problems with tattoos, it just depends on how judgmental the owner is!

i agree just cuz i have a few tats doesnt mean im less capable of doing the job..because im a pretty good worker i think. but the thing that gets me is this, i have been turned down before because of tattoos but yet the guy the turned me down had tattoos. they werent visible but he told me " you have too many visible tattoos" i find it a bunch of bull personally but im glad you responded! thanks
