This only tries to tell you what type of American accent you have. So, I guess what it is saying is that from all the American accents yours most closely resembles someone from New York.

Wow! A very interesting quiz. It says I am from Philadelphia but the truth is I've never been to any country. Cool^^

hi!
Well, i am not an american, I am hungarian, and i even do not speak english well , but i checked this site. And i wondered what it sais to me. It was really interesting!
My result: The Inland North
"You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?"
My result is interesting too. (Anyway I think that who created this quiz has hungarian name. :P)

It says mine is "The Inland North." It says people might think that I'm from Wisconsin or Chicago, which isn't accurate. I don't have any "coffee" accent like that at all. I guess I speak somewhat like a Midwestern / Northerner (my parents are from the north), but I've lived in five states, so my accent is pretty neutral.

Apparantely I have a Philly one, even though I am English and don't have any kind of American accent! hahaha.
But it was quite a fun quiz to do, maybe they should do an English one to see if they can get which region of the UK we come from lol.
Cheers though, was fun to see what part of America I should go to first without sounding out of place haha
Thanks

I have the inland north accent. I think I actually have the type of accent of people who live in an area who deals with a lot of Mexicans... I don't know how to describe it good but I acquired it from living in Nevada. I do know I adapt to accents pretty well so whatever my accent is, it's because of my speaking environment.
