doing some schoolwork with my preschooler

My little girl will be 4 this summer. Her older brother goes to school and all I've heard from her since school started is how SHE is going to go to school. I signed her up at a preschool that doesn't cost anything. My son went there at that age and I loved it but we were put on a waiting list and she is still not in school. When we go to my son's school we see the preschool class(which she wasn't quite old enough to join) and she wants to go in there all the time. I know I could have been doing preschool activities and lessons with her all this time but I figured her interest would fade. It hasn't! She LOVES drawing, writing, "reading" and counting. So, today I printed out some materials and we're gonna do some activities. What kinds of things do you do with your preschooler that isn't attending a preschool?

I think the things you printed out would work out pretty good. Maybe something that she could color or some sort of craft for her to do.

yeah, it doesn't have to be too much and I know I don't have to fill the whole day with "school". I just want her to feel like she's getting to do something. The thing is...I give her something little and she does it and is ready for more. We've always noticed that she seemed really smart but sometimes I can't believe how smart she is for her age!
