Which Engineering field is Suitable

Right now so many engineering fields are available for us,we even cant decide which one is better,some says computer is best,some says electronics is best,some says mechanical
So how could we decide which in which field should?
And one more thing before selecting a field we only consider the job we can get or personal satisfaction too?

it depends on u, in which field u want to go....it doesnt really matter if u take COMPUTER ENGG. or MECHANICAL ENGG. the point which matters is that u should work well & give ur best in that field.....i m doing MECHANICAL ENGINEERING coz i wanted to join mechanical side,,,,& i m giving my best here

But Some people dont think like that..like in 2002 so many software engineers lost there jobs so that time computer sc. engg lost its faith,It depends on the future also...which stream has bright future...

well apart from the job oppurtunities it depends on your aptitude and liking too. will you like to study something which you simply hate for 4 years ? and i am a chemical engineer and from my experiance i can tell you that you can shift into software from any other stream quite easily . so if you take up any core engineering branches such as mechanical and chemical it will give you a wider lot of choices . best of luck for the future .
