Anime: Ouran High School Host Club

Ouran is one of anime's biggest hit this summer. The 26-episode show was adopted from the currently ongoing manga of the same title.

its also one of the few anime shows thats better than their manga counterparts...i think its because the gags are more effective onscreen than when reading it XD but the manga is also good, nonetheless. :)

I have already finished watching this anime. Too bad it is only a single season. This anime is very funny especially the one with the lunar(subtitling group) subtitles. They did a very hood job on subtitling it. I hope this will be shown in our country because I think it will gather many viewers although some scenes are not for kids.

lol i know...but its the yaoi subtext thats funny most of the time XD i hope BONES (same producer as fullmetalchemist) will add another season! well the manga isn't finished yet so we can hope for a longer series...

yup i agree. This anime is really funny. I keep watching it over and over again and i still find it funny. They should make a second season for this anime.

This happens to be in my favorite anime list.Hatori Bisco did a splendid job in this manga.The arts are just great and the story is funny but touching at the same time.26 episodes are not enough for me.Hopefully they could bring us Season 2.I realy wish to see who did Haruhi choose.Be it TamAKI -the king host or Kyouya -the shadow king-evil guy? lol...You gotta love this anime!!!

i have only started watching this series but it looks promising. i got curious when somebody gushed about it in his blog, so i checked it in youtube. i only got through the first episode but it sure looks good. if i have enough time, i'm planning to watch some more

Nope, you're not the only one! My friend who introduced me to Host Club to begin with is a guy, and I have another male friend who absolutely adores it ^^

The first time I watched this series, I thought this was yaoi. (Yaoi is a guy-guy romance anime.) So I stopped watching after the first episode. But one boring Sunday afternoon, I re-watched it again and the few succeeding episodes. Boy I'm glad I did. ^-^
This really is a very entertaining series. Can't wait for the second season. ^-^

i just recently found out about this anime and i can't get enough of it! i think i really got addicted or something. we don't have mangas and it's not aired here, i needed to download the episodes from the internet! hehehehe!

Ouran HS Host Club is one of the most amazing and hilarious animes out there! I only had to watch a few episodes before it became an instant favorite. After I had finished the series, I started collecting the manga, but sadly I only have the first three volumes so far.
I agree that a lot of the gags are much better in the show, plus there are extra gags added in (like all the banana peels, I don't see them popping up in the manga like they do in the show)
I also think they have a wonderful voice cast and I love the music, both the character themes and background music!
