We as Americans should support our men and women of the Armed Forces regardless of our feelings about the Commander and Chief President G. W. Bush. Support the soldiers not the mission. Every day these young men and women risk there lives why not make them feel loved and supported by there fellow Americans?

I agree with you and I think that most Americans share this sentiment. The men and women of the military are doing their jobs, and we need to support and appreciate the risks that they are enduring to protect our freedom. I pray for them every day, and wish that each and every one of our troops will be able to return home safely to their loved ones. I don't agree with the initial reasons for going into Iraq, like many Americans, and I certainly don't agree with all of President Bush's policies, but I feel that at this stage we have no choice but to stay over there. Due to the mistakes that have already been made, if we were to pull our troops out now, the world could really be in danger. It would be a literal blood-bath in the Middle East. Of course it would have been better to never start this mess, but we have to deal with the reality of what the situation is now. So for now, all we can do is to continue to pray and support those who are serving to protect our freedom and the safety of the world, even if they are under "misguided leadership".

I think most Americans do support our soldiers. However, politicians sometimes forget to do that when they are concentrating on elections.

Not to sound anti-american, because I do like President Bush, but I think we are at the point of no return on this war. I dont think we can do anything else to help these poor people. I think his intentions were good in the beginning but now I just think he is desperate to regain popularity amongst his people by doing a "iraq or bust" type of thing. I think that at this point all he can do is try this one "last trick up his sleeve" to see if it works, if it does, then his popularity will go up, if it doesnt, then his popularity will be the same as now or worse.
Thats how I see it.
