I get my "pantry" food from Walmart. The prices there are very competitive. For meat however, we go to another store. Around here, when choosing from Walmart meat, you have the choice between brown or green....and I am NOT kidding.
We take a ride about 30 miles south of the house to a special meat store. They have great meat and it's actually about the same price as Walmart.
I generally just go to the local grocery store for milk, bread and eggs. For our sweets, I go to a place called the bread store. They have discounted prices because of smashed packaging.

Well we usually do our shopping at Dollar General Market. It's a fairly new store in our area that is similar to like a Super Wal-Mart but on a smaller scale. They have some great deals there though. Not as big of a selection but I can get most of the things I want there at a great deal. Anything I can't get there I then go to Wal-Mart for. I find it saves me the most money doing that.

i would prefer walmart for buying grocery. I never go to place where there is sale on for cloths.Once i went i found that the cloths looked very old . Just see the brand store you are visiting when there is sale.

usally we go to this one place call "woodman" they are huge and they got tons of good stuff for cheap there, we always over spend when we go there, but we also go to aldi and walmart from time to time, so it all depend who has what for sale that week, i like drive around sometime just for that.

Lately, most of my shopping has been at Walmart. I used to try to frequent the local, family owned stores, until I learned they were hypocrits and didn't do their own business with local companies.

I have shopped at WalMart for groceries and found that a lot of the items were higher priced than at our local grocery store. Of course not having a Super WalMart in our state, we traveled to another state to shop there. We have an Aldi store in our town and I love shopping there. They don't carry everything I need, but what I buy there saves me a bundle.

Since our housefire we are shopping Walmart. The manager was good to us with a few items right after the fire and we are able to price match so our food dollars go a bit further. We spend about 100 dollars on food for four of us and 5 cats and 3 dogs. The dog food we buy at the feed store for 15 dollars for 50 pounds. I used to shop all the stores in a route pattern and shop their loss leaders.
