I think I would not have a girlfried that doesnt like Metallica in the first place. I make sure I get to know the girl really well first. And musical inclination is one of the priorities. :)

It wudn't really matter is she dint like metallica..v're free 2 our own opinions arent v?? in any case i don really hafta think bout tat..cuz she totally loves metallica..in fact enter sandman's her fav song of al time..:)

Well, my current girlfriend only likes a couple of songs of Metallica, exactly the ones I've tried to make to get her into :) I don't think this constitutes any problem, we need to respecter other people's tastes to get our tastes respected as well, and I think that's the way it should work for everyone.

go to her house at night... bring biggest speakers you have... play metallica at full volume! then ask her to love metallica or else you'll add up another 5 speakers... at full volume and full bass! hehehehhe

Sandman and Master are WAY overplayed! Yeah, they're good songs, but i would appreciate them more if they werent the only songs played on the radio. But my top 5s are....(drum roll please, thanks lars!) 1: Jump in the Fire 2: Whiplash 3: Blackened 4: Battery 5: Master of Puppets (S&M Version; its so FUC***G COOL!) But I like Jump in the Fire because it is a tru Metal sound and the guitar riffs are extremely difficult, i can do them but i always slip on the solo. KIRK IS THE GREATEST GUITARIST IN MUSIC TODAY!!! HEAR ME ALL YOU POSERS WHO THINK ANGUS YOUNG IS BETTER BECAUSE OF THUNDERSTRUCK!!!

I dont do anything! We are OK if she doesnt tell me that music i listen is stupid and similar stuff. I hate when someone is trying to change you, especially girls. they think that they can change everyone. But they wont change me. Accept me because of who i am and we can be together.

at first i would recommend her to lisen to master of puppets....if she still doesnt like metallica then i'll leave it at that..matter ended..

Dump her!! J/K What type of music does she like? Play Garage, Inc. With all the covers they did on that album there is bound to be a song she knows and likes! I find it really hard to believe that anyone could dislike Metallica. I am country to the bone, wouldn't listen to anything else, until one of my fave local country bands starting integrating Enter Sandman with a Dwight Yoakum song. It was all over after that!!! Not to mention James Hetfield is uber hot for an old guy! LOL

nothing. she doesn't have to listen to metallica id she doen't like it, but she can't stop me from listening metallica. but ofcourse i would not play metallica out loud when i'm with her.
