I know this is a touchy subject, but I'm asking anyway. Does most of the world think that America is just a big bully gettin into everyone elses business? Some times I feel that way. It's probibly just because all of my friends are in I raq fighting for....well, I'm not quite sure. I mean we are free. Didn't we get Sadam? When will it end? I don't want any more of my friends and family to die.

I haven't actually been to America yet, so this is all purely from an outside point of view.
I dont agree with a lot of the politics going on in America, I dislike how right wing things seem to be over there.
I find it frustrating that America causes so much pollution and the US government don't seem to care or be willing to do anything good for the environment.
But I will reserve judgement on other things until I've visited :)

The US government is doing a lot about the environment and pollution. The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) is a governmental agency which actively monitors ozone and air particulate pollution levels and compares these levels to standards.
visit their website for much information on what the problems are and how the government is addressing them.
http://www.epa.gov/One area that is very strictly legislated in the US to cut down on pollution is automobile emission standards. Violations of these standards result in strict fines.
