Do you ever notice that whenever there's an alerts send by mylot it will always be displayed by default on your top left conner that will partially block the "Search Bar" provided in our main page? personally I found it will be nice if the existing "Search bar" can be allocate in the middle of the page in top position ideally place under the page title" make mylot your homepage".Personally I seldom delete those "Alerts" myself as I think to leave it there was simply more easy for me to recalls any important messages from mylot or just treat it as my quick references and as for thus it will be a bit troublesome whenever I want to use the search bar. What's your views on this "Alerts" things and "Search Bar relocations ideas? To remain in the same positions or put it in the middle for more convenient search?

Its good that you can make it a habits to always safe your important messages/documents in notepad or simply others folders.Normally I don't do that as I only safe those of my own works in others folder which for those messages like mylot alerts I know it still can be found within the page. Anyway to the topic that concern I think you have show that you were make use of those located features in very well manner like you will do a search within the interests page instead of using the search bar and I think this was actually the very own habits when doing the search. Yeah I do think its will better to be re-locate or maybe they can make it a small icon to indicates the "Alerts" or simply make it another heading category together with others headings within the same group. Thanks for your nice respond.

I don't delete alerts. Once in a while I read it. It is not blocking the search bar since you can place it anyway in place you think you are comfortable to see it. Don't you know you can move it? I guess that you know it, it's not anymore a bit troublesome to us.

I'm usually read alert then deleted it. if some people not delete it and want to save it better copy that alert into notepad or save it into your mail/messages so you can easily back to that discussions if you need. about position I would like if alert put in the middle of screen so we all know if we have alert.

i will always delete all alerts after reading through them....there was once that i didnt delete and the it continue to stay there which is very irritating...i would hope to save it, but i uses different pc/laptop to log in everytime, so it doesnt really serve the purpose of saving it down...i think putting it in the middle might be a good idea :D anything as long as it can be used for future references.

Yes I have . I think its a better idea. Some people dont like to read messages but infact do erase them from time to time. It catches the users attention . I find that most of the time they say the same thing but i read them anyway

Yeah I truly agreed with you on this as me too was always found it quite annoying as I use to do my search by that search box and it was partially block/overlapping by that small box:(Anyway its just been resizes as well as re-positioning in which it was now place under the search bar. Thanks for your respond.

I think that is the best part for that alert of mylot,
so members will have the better chance of getting it
before going any further in his regular posting routines.
Well I just let it stay there and never delete, because
it will remind me all the time what is to be done on priority.

I think it is a good Idea to put the Alert there as People should notice it there this is why I never understand that People come back with questions when something changes on mylot as they should have the Alert there telling them all about it

I truly agreed with you on your comments for can't accepts as why users still didn't get the messages since it already been told.Anyway we have to forgives them as they might not really good in understanding the actual meanings in those messages and its not a problems for us who understand better to give them a big hand:)Thanks for your respond.

I dont see that as an inconvenient feature.I hope u know that u could move that "alert" box by dragging and dropping to any place u want .
But then yes, It would be nice to have the search bar in the center by default.

Well i am happy with the way mylot has created this website and perhaps the only thing tht i would feel to change is a facility to make editings in the discussions that we post.

It's a very good thing that my lot shows alerts on the top left side of the page, as it attracts people attention to see the alert as soon as possible and if there are any important things to go through about my lot policy or rules and regulations. I like that thing.

Yeah am sure all of us wouldn't have any complaints for them to send us any messages to inform us on any important things to be take notes but my actual meaning for this discussions was ask for opinions/views/ideas for the "Alerts" and "Search Bar" better positions:( Anyway I think many didn't really read on the topic carefully when they respond and it end up for them to focus and talk on "Alerts"..Anyway have to accepts them all a well as they still contributes their answers to part of the original topic:)Thanks for your respond.
