Is anyone here interested in scrapbooking ?
I got into scrapbooking a couple of years ago and would say I got hooked fast . When I tried it out it seemed kind of childish but once I started I realized how much fun I was having and before long had finished a couple of books . One of my best pages was of my daughter just before she learned to walk , I took a print of her foot and made up a page surrounding her foot with a poem about how little one's grow up way to fast ,there is no pictures of her on the page but it expresses how much I love her and how I want to be there for her always , everyone who has seen the page has said it was one of the nicest I did .
What is your best scrapbook page and where do you get your inspirations ?

I'm going to start scapbooking. I'm think of making each of my closest friends a scarpbook for the end of school. We will all be moving on and going to Univeristy so i think it would be nice for them to have a little reminder. It is a pretty expensive hobby though so i would have to keep track of what i was spending!

Oh !! That would be a really nice idea and would make a really nice gift for each of your close friends .I find a gift someone has made up is so much nicer then something bought , just because it shows how much thought you put into thinking about the person . It is an expensive hobby but it is amazing to find the stuff around your house that you can use also .

I have always wanted to learn how to do a scrapbook. I am very creative already. I need some help though. I have practiced with regular photo albums. I still want to learn. I need to get a book on it or something.

When I first started and needed some help , I did a lot of research on the internet , there are many interesting sites that can give you lots of good ideas . One of my favorite was DMarie .

I just love scrapbooking, i never did it until i moved in 2003. my sister do's it, she got me hooked on it and i have been doing it ever since. i have made about a dozen scrapbook's, i also have one on all my dog's that i have throughout the year's. i am going to start a special one for my little chihuahua, she deserve's to have her own scrapbook. :) :) :)

Ohhhhhh I'm definitely a scrapbook addict!! I started a few years ago, and like you, got hooked fast. It's a fabulous way to store photos. I can't say what my best page would be but my inspirations come from my kids. Funny comments they make or odd things they say become instant "titles" for my pages. I spend hours on the internet looking at pages other people have done and trying to incorporate their ideas with mine. It's a great hobby that I plan on doing forever, lol.

I have to agree , my kids are my inspiration . I sometimes find myself taking a picture of the kids just because I saw a page that someone else did and it sparks a new idea that I would like to do . I got a digital camera just so I could take as many pictures as I wanted and then print out just what I want for each picture . It has to be one of my favorite hobbies I have ever gotten into .

I'm a scrapbook fanatic! As a matter of fact, I'm having a scrapbook party today. I'm also going next weekend to one thats both friday and saturday so that I can try to get some things done with my pictures.
My aunt got my started back in `97 and I've been going stong wih it ever since. I did one for my life and now I'm starting on one for my daughter.

i would really love to do and create a scrapbook of my own, it's just that i don't have the effort to do so ha ha! i am lazy on that kind of work. maybe if hard work strikes me, that will only be the time i will do one but for now, maybe a no. next time, i would make one, the one with pictures, dozen of pictures on it. :)

Several years ago I went to a Creative Memories party and you made a scrapbook page and we cropped the picture and I wasnt really into it. I wasnt really impressed!! Then I tryed it again and I cant get enough!!LOL
Im a rubber stamper so I create alot of my own patterned paper by random stamping it. I get alot of my ideas from the internet. A book I use is called Cherish. It has different layout in it and its tells you how to make them.
