I haven't read any of them yet. My 15 year old has been reading the one for teenagers. I used to be signed up for a daily chicken soup for the soul mailing list. I did enjoy that.

I have only read like the first one and then one for pet lovers. I personally tired of them quick. They all pretty much seem the same and I honestly think at one point they ran out of stories and were putting anything even sort of nice in as a Chicken Soup story! They certainly have them for everyone don't they?

I have reak only one chicken soup book and it really offered very good solutions. You are right if the discussions which are started with an objective of finding a solution to the crisis are all combined then another chicken soup can be made from this and it seems to be a good idea.

Can you tell me about them? I am always looking for books that have inspirational sayings or stories. I use them as part of my recovery process in dealing with my co-dependency issues to help my self taught cognitive therapy. Nothing better then good thoughts about yourself and others to keep you out of the depths of depression. I love sharing what i have as well. there is a daily mediations book by the same woman who wrote Codependent no more and beyond codependency Melody Beattie. even if your not clinically codependent the books are great. I am always willing ready and able to read anything new that has quality.

Yeah, I can see what you're saying... although I've only read a couple of the Chicken Soup books, but I presume they are all pretty much the same thing. But true, this is pretty much like a giant "answers to problems" book. More fun, though... :-)

I love the chicken soup books. I guess in some ways mylot does remind me of them. It is nice to have people willing to help you figure stuff out. But in some ways it doesn't. The books don't have nearly as many annoying 3 word posts!

I can see the resemblance. I've read so many. Chicken Soup for the Women's Soul, Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul, and Chicken Soup for the Baseball Fan's Soul, are my favorites.
