The purpose of starting a discussion, its call the attention of the people, so you can talk with them about the interest you choose, and can teach and speak the people about it. If the discussions don't exist there is nothing to opinate about; they are indispensable for all class of forums.

because They fwant some one to share information with them. Got troble and need help
also to bost their rating. I';m not said all topic starter have all the reason. Maybe only 1-2 reason. BUt I think mostly because they want to make new post ^^
