how come some people have star rating ?

its new there was an alert about it recently.its to do with the quality of your posts and responces .but have heaps of fun here and make good posts and you will get a rateing too

Star rating is a way of showing your reputation in the mylot commmunity. After reaching 100 responses, you are given a star to reflect how the mylot users view your responses. For every + rating, your star rating goes higher; a -rating lowers it down. So make sure that you always give your best in delivering your opinions and posting topics. Aside from the monetary rewards, you should also consider your star rating as a motivation to be better, if not the best.

This is quite new. If you post good answers that will increase your rating. I think there is a relation with the money you earn. So better keep your answers good.

Once you have a 100 posts than your star rating will appear. The number that you recieve in your star shows the quality of your posts!! I think that it is beneficial in letting us know where we stand here in mylot!!!

Star rating is a pretty new concept in Mylot. Its like crediting a user based on their responses on MyLot. It is awarded after your points cross 100.

The star indicates a users reputation to this community. If a person contributes quality topics and response, mylot will see him as a reputable user thereby give him a high star rating. A user will receive his first star after reaching 100 points. You will not find the star rating being discuss in the FAQ because its a recent feature of mylot. When it was first implemented, about 1 week ago, they send alerts to the members of this community.
