Who doesn't love bulgogi, "fire meat", Korean bargeque! Slivers of tender beef, marinated and grilled at the table along with a bit of scallion, mushroom. slivered carrot. Restaurants have a place in the center of each table where the grill is lit for diners to cook their bulgogi. Korean families have a grill to set on their tables when they eat it at home.
Part of the pleasure is in how you eat it. Put some of the cooked meat on a leaf of lettuce, Add a sliver of raw garlic and some fresh hot pepper or a dabof hot pepper sauce. Wrap it up and dip it in a soy-based sauce. Eat it before the juices run down your arm all the way to your elbow! Of course, enjoy a bowl of rice and some soup with it. And some kim chis!
What is your favorite recipe for the bulgogi marinade, and for the dipping sauce?

You are going to think that I am crazy but I have never heard of it. I have never eaten any Korean food. You make it sound really good though.

I love bulgogi. Me living in Germany Korean food is a luxury over here. We pay around 50 euros just for me and my husband to eat Korean Food. Luckily we have a Korean family who owned the place, which means we get real Korean food.
Anyways, does anybody have a recipe of Bulgogi?
