when i was younger, it was way cool to have bdays with balloons, games, parties and all more so, full of presents on the table but as i grew older, it was more tamed as before. no more balloons and stuffs i just celebrate my b-days with family after with friends. how about you b-day experiences?

Ya thats true when we are a kid we like all the ballons, cakes and etc. But when we grow up the way we celebrate our birthday changes. I like spending my time with my family on birthday. I dont like big parties because somehow i feel that in parties we dont get a chance to spend time with people who are important to us. Its more of a group event and i sometimes feel stranger in my own party. I prefer to invite only the closest of people and celebrate my brithday without much noise.

yah...really when i was on my elementary days its always a kiddy party to celebrate birthday. a day with balloons , games , cakes , bbq , hotdogs & marshmallows , spaghetti , cupcakes , ice cream & fried crispy chicken & lots of present. for this time we also celebrate birthdays with a special meal recipes at home or a dinner with family & friends at a special choice of restaurant. still with cake & candles to blow & some present still.

I'm 28 and my birthdays have certainlly changed since I was a kid! lol Usually it's a very laid back affair, if we really even do anything. My grandparents might take me out to dinner, but that's kind of it. Last year though, we had a small family get together and I actually got a cake! I thought that was really nice.
