Spookey But yet cool cat....interesting

I know some people dont believe in the supernatural, but i have the strangest story to tell. I found this cat wondering around in a video rental store one day, it was really friendly and seemed to have no owner. this guy walks up to me and asked did i want to take the cat home. Usually i wouldnt because of my landlord at the time, but the cat was unique because it had one green eye and one blue eye. So i was like cool so i took the cat home and named her jamie. but i notice strange things about jamie, she would look across the room and act like someone was there with me. Sometime
she would just instantly become spooked. and would stand up like she was responding to something thats not even there. The house i lived then had alot of paranormal activitiy in it, and when she would freak out, strange things would happen, like the classic cold draft that would come out of no where. things would just dissapper, or break with out any noise. Could it be that she was seeing something that i couldnt? i know this sounds silly, but i read in a book that cat or dogs like this has a special 6 sence that we dont have. could this be true? or im just over thinking this?

animals have keener senses than we do..i too have had activity in a couple of the homes i've lived in, and my cat will do the same...he would usually freak out, because he doesn't like people, and is only comfortable with myself and my son. When this would happen, i immediately knew something was happening and he was seeing something that i couldn't. It could very well be that your cat is seeing this, specially if you are experiencing activity at the same time.

I think there are some things we can't yet explain and I don't think you're being silly or even crazy. As a christian I do believe in an afterlife and that maybe some souls still don't want to leave earth and trying to hold on to life itself.
Animals have the ability to use their "6 scence"that is true, but we human beings also still have our intuition. It is not so uncommen as some people might think for example; when the phone rings and you know exactly who it is, when you have a dream and it or something similar to it happends the next day, when suddenly you have a bad feeling and because of that you made a choice, which prevented you or somebody you know from harm.
Of course there will always be one side who does believe in it and another side who doesn't believe in paranomal activites. In the end you will have to trust your own feelings. Nobody can tell you what to believe in or not. Hope I help you a little bit.

Cats are just the same as us humans, they are no different. They are individuals on four legs who need love and attention too.

Exact same thing happened with my cat.... searched a lot of info on the net and on books on that, but found nothing except what some religious people wrote with past quotes about animals having the what do you call it vision... extra something vision that allows them to see non material creatures!
I also learned back then that animals don't recognise colors and see the world in black and white, except for some types of chimpanzies...

I believe every word of it and i don't think taht you are overthinking this at all. Cats especially do have a sixth sense and alot of cats react in this way it is kind of creepy when you think about it. They arch their backs and their hair stands up as they hiss!

I have heard so many things like this involving an animal or even a child. It is said that the animals sense paranormal beings like we would sense someone watching us..I can't say for sure, and I'm not sure that anyone really can, but it's just an idea. Babies or small children are more likely to be openminded and therefore comfort the paranormal beings moreso than we do, that is why alot of children report these people that no one else can see.

Absolutely, Jamie was seeing something going on. I totally believe in that. The same thing happens with my son. He is 10 months old and every now and then he'll start waving and kissing the air. I always ask him who's visiting him. My grandfather passed, my husbands mother and grandfather also, so I think they come to visit him.

well first of all i do believe that all animals have this kind of a sense that we lack.they can always sense when something is wrong way before we can .that said maybe your house does have poltergeists.either way all i can say is that along with your cat you are havng an intrestiong time and hope that you enjoy it!

This is not the first time that I have heard of animals reacting to things that we as humans cannot see. I really do think that animals know how to use their sixth sense instinctively. Humans also have this sense, but the problem is that we haven't really developed it and most of us don't understand how to use it. Think about it - science says that we only use 10% of our brainpower, so imagine what all we could do if we could use even 90%! *laugh* Yes, I really do believe that animals can see and sense things that we cannot.

cats can really see things that are not visible in the human eye. So I believe that there's a paranormal activity going in your house.

I have a cat and her name is spooky believe it or not!About 10 years ago my brother was driving home one night,it was halloween and raining,he thought he saw a rat run in front of his car,and it turned out to be a kitten whose mother abandoned it.We took her in and had to bottle feed her.We called her spooky,seeing how it was halloween and she was a pure black cat...and her name really suits her in fact.Her behaviour is liked shes spooked all the time,you walk up to her and she runs!

I believe that animals do have their own special ways of viewing the world. My dog, for example, is always accompanying me in my late night TV viewing. My dog sleeps like a frog and he immediately stood up and went straight to our kitchen. As I was lain on the couch (I could see the kitchen from there.), my dog (Snow white) barked at the window inside the kitchen. Outside that window is our dirty kitchen and outside that dirty kitchen is our backyard. There had been psychics in our house and many of them said that there are spirits that live in our backyard. When I call ed my dog, it just looked at me for a few seconds and went back to barking at the window. I don't know what that would prove, but my hair rose at that time and I stopped watching and went straight to my bedroom.

Both my dog and cat have always reacted to things that are not there, it an be spooky. But I never thought much about it until my oldest son started doing it as a baby, he now tells me what is there and we tell it that if it is friendly then it can stay but if not if sould leave, no problem.
Apparently you can test your catsability but putting the Tv on fuzzy black and white as the spirits are drawn to it so your at will see them more clearly or something. Poletgeist wasn't all fantasy after all. lol.

Yup, i think that cats especially have a 6th sense. Its basically nothing to worry about. Whenever this happens and your cat acts wierd you should pray for whoever is there in the room. Just ask God to take care of the soul standing in the same room with you. These souls need us people to pray for them so that they can move over to heaven or whereever else they will be going.

I had also read somewhere that cats and dogs have a sixth sense for seeing the supernatural stuff!! So far, I had never experienced anything like that before. But it might be true to some extent.
