How was your first plane ride?

Do you still remember how you felt when you first rode an airplane? how was it? did your ears hurt during take off and landing? I had my first ride when i was 11 yrs old. it was just a domestic flight so it was short. i think it was just an hour flight. my mom asked me to chew a gum when we're about to take off. i was also seated by the window to see the view. i saw clearly the difference between the city and the province. how about you? how was your experience?

It's frightening. Especially wen the plane lifted off. But I felt peace up above. And felt afraid again as we landed on.

My first plane ride was only 3 years ago when i was 24. It was interesting. was only about an hour and a half flight. i was Very nervous and scared. i was also moving away from the province i grew up in and away from all my family to be with my hubby. It was a scary ride but luckily there was no turbulence that flight. i recently flew my second time though! just as xmas.. i flew with my daughter who was 5 months old. she did NOT like flying on the way home she cried nearly the whole time in the air. but on the way back she was okay for some reason. she slept through most of it.

I was around 11 too.One of the things that I remember is a bit embarrasing.The air hostess was about to pour some tea for me and the tray was in my lap.Just when she started to pour I realized the cup wasn,t properly placed in the tray.So naturally and unfortunately I decided I had to place it properly .And there the tea went straight into my lap...man! it was HOT!This obviously created a scene and brought quite some attention which was very embarrasing for me.Luckily I was alright but the rest of the affair wasn,t!
