Do we need business communication skills in the daily life? even just by knowing the words to use for the daily life, we can lead a happy life. Then what is the point in learning business communication skills in the school classes?

i finished a business-related course, and learning business communication was a must for us. It's important to learn it if you plan to work in a really big company. It's a sign of respect for them, and formality. On the other hand, i can't see its use for small and medium sized businesses, unless they have to deal with formal people too.
