Do people really enjoy webcam chat sites?

I have been a member of meetcam for over a year and it doesn't seem to be growing at all. I would think people would enjoy to see who they are chatting with. I also think safety is greatly excelled when you can see who you are talking too. Buying a cheap webcam was one of the greatest things I have bought in a long time. I really enjoy meeting new people I can see and chat with at the same time.
