I am a medical doctor and I have applied for work in Australia as a skilled worker. I have not gotten the response I wanted as of yet. How do I speed up the process? I would also like to find out roughly how much I would need to spend in order to migrate to Australia?

Hi, Im not 100% sure on this answer but it is generaly common knowledge to the country folk, that if you apply for a job in the remote and very rural area's, most Shire Office's/Medical Centre's will help you with the application and accomodation and other benefits.
The condition is that you must stay in that town/area for a mimimal period, sometimes no more than 2 years.
If you do, do it this way......
Please I beg of you, Do not be like 99% of the other immigrating Dr's who only stay for their contract period and their immigration papers, then move to the city.
We folk in the country desperately need Medical Specialists and Doctors. The benefits in the rural and remote are's are better. And if you stayed, you'd be more appreciated.

Hi Jessmtiu,
I also interested in migrating to Australia. Just like to ask why are you asking how much to spend to migrate? isn't it that when you lodge your application you already pay $1990?or did you apply under the matching category?
On my research, processing takes around 6 months, since your skill is under the in-demand list, most probably you'll be given an pass result. Just wait, there are lots of applicants.
Goodluck.
