I have read extensive literature about America. My conclusion is IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN AMERICA, YOU HAVE NOT SEEN A FOREGIN COUNTRY. It is a miniature world - people from all parts of the world has descended on US for the past 300 years. That is why it is unique.

ok. why does everyone question america?
i haven't seen a post about china or russia, or canada or italy. why is it always america.
we are the land of opportunity, beauty, riches, warm friendly people, & kindess to name a few.
american is a great place for us to raise our children.
i'm offended that every time a country is being asked about, it's america.

Im not questioning america i live here....im asking others opions on us from other countries, the way things have been going with the war in iraq and other things i could see how we could have a negative image im wondering other peoples perspective on on it. why dont you post a question about another counrty. American isnt all warm and friendly, its not a perfect place sure its the land of oppurtinty if you are fortunate enough to be born with a silver spoon in your mouth of if you know people.

America I think it´s a special place, with special people. Sometimes we (europeans) wish to be in America, living the American Dream, sometimes we don´t.
Americans think that they ruled the world and history tell us that every great empire have fall down.
But I loved to go there.
