Cell Phones and Voice Recorders in class ---- Should they be allowed ?!?!

The world is moving on at a very fast pace, we need to be constantly in touch with each other in this kind of a world. the recent woes of students is that cell phones and recorders are not being allowed into the class, what can be the trouble with the teacher??? This is not going to disturb them at all, in fact it will help the students to increase their performance in their academics, true, some mischievous students are also there , but what would someone do in case of an emergency???
Do you think phones should be allowed or not???

In my opinion, now-a-days its very necessary to have cell phones with us.
So, if we have any emergency call for us we should just tell the truth to our teacher about what the call is about.
Unless and until its not so urgent, we don't have to use the cell phones at class rooms.
We have to just be in unity in our class not only with our classmates but with teachers too. We have to share our problems with all of them. It make them to think about the situation and it will be a lot better for both go side by side.
But students having cell phones only for fun, not be allowed and shall be make aware of it.
But if have any important class then ask the teacher about the call and talk outside of the class for a while which will be a peaceful way and no one will be disturbed.

i think you are correct... i know that the teachers who are the most friendly are given more respect and are the most popular in the place... also the students fell easier to express their problems and questions to them, but unfortunately most of the teachers dont understand this truth...

Thats a little bit problem looks to me.
If teachers become friendly to students, then everything goes just fine, and at the same way, we have to give them respect too.

they shouldn't be allowed at any cost..

yes true said mate, well i think cell phones are good but outside classes only..afterall they have side effects which should be avoided at all cost.

When you are studying what is the purpose of bringing cell phones or voice recorders in the class. In my opinion the misuse of cell phones will be more than its use. Phones should never be allowed in class rooms.
