I like Baguio City. I have studied at the St. Louise University in Baguio City when I was still in first year college. It is the summer capital of the Philippines and the climate is good. And I love to see the very beautiful sceneries.

Cubao is not a city... It's located in Quezon City. My favorite city is Makati.

Yes, for me Cubao is a city in itself :) Q.C. is such a biiig area. I can't say I like the whole of Q.C. the way I like Cubao. Get it?

Haha I know Cubao is not a city but I call it a city nevertheless...just like how I call my room "The City of Tornadoes" harhar. I love the hustle and bustle of Cubao--its beggars, its busy streets and dusty avenues--it always feels like an adventure. I'm sorry you had a bad experience there but it still tops my list of places I would gladly go back to over and over again :)

I'm not from Dumaguete City but I do agree with you.
There's something in the city which makes me want to come back. It really is the city of gentle people. It's relatively small but I love the places, both man-made and natural.

i haven't been to many cities in the provinces..but i enjoyed going to Calbiga City. clean air, fresh shrimps and fishes. That place gave me the chance to try on barbecued mussels with ketchup. yummy! That's not my favorite city though. My favorite is Makati because of the awesome shopping malls and i feel that it's the center of my universe.

I'd say Zamboanga City! It's not just because it's my hometown and that the people I care most about are there, but because of the potential of that city.
There isn't much to see there compared to others, but it definitely has its own identity. We have great food, nice beaches, and well friendly people. I haven't gone around my own town much, since I kinda took it for granted... knowing that I can go around anytime. I'll make sure to check out the spots when I get back.hehe

For me, the best city here in the Philippines of where I dreamed to live there soon is Davao City.
I did live in Davao City in the year 2000 till 2002 and I do appreciate much what the city had influenced my life.
Davao City is strong city, politically as well as a community. People are law-abiding citizens with a sense of extra-ordinary moral standard. The business community is at par with Cebu or Manila, so its the best city to have business with.
You are safe in Davao. Why? Because its really like the US. They have there own extensive 911 Emergency Rescue and Police Services. The Police Department assigned in Davao City are the most extensive in the country. Just imagine, 200 plus patrol cars visible everywhere to safe guard the city itself.
The Food in Davao is very much affordable. Fruits are abundant. Agricultural products are of greater supply. The Tuna fish is very much affordable and everybody served it anywhere in the city.
So, come on and join me, to have a livable life in Davao City.

Baguio City - temperature alone would spell the difference, the fine smell of pine trees, the cool breeze, the scenery, the flower festival (panagbenga). The zigzag road, the camp john hay, burnham park!, groto, botanical garnden, PMA, and the people.

For me its Quezon City.. What can you ask for? Good places for gimmicks, and considered the ICT capital of the Philippines. You can find here different good locations to stroll over, drunk till dawn and many more.. Two thumbs up for this city!!!

Definitely agree with this. Q.C. is the place to be if you're young, restless and adventurous. That's probably why I frequent it even if I'm from the south!

I have to disagree with your opinion (well, it's your opinion still and it's yours to have hehe) but Baguio is not pollution-free. I go to Baguio several times a year. I actually spent Christmas there and while the climate is really enjoyable, I can't roll down the windows of my car while driving because the diesel that the jeepneys/cabs use permeate the air. I know they use diesel because of the steep roads but I hope they find an alternative. Props to Baguio though, the city has amazing sweet corn! :)

Hmmm...maybe I'll visit Dumaguete, then, Joy. :)
Well for me it's Cagayan de Oro because for one, it's the safest place to live in the Philippines. For the rest of my reasons, you got to visit the place yourself. :)

My favorite city in the Philippines is Davao City. Its climate, peace and order, tourist attractions, cheap food, and a lot more, are great. The hospitality and discipline of the natives are also tremendous.
