How reliable is "Online Dating" in the world where everything is faster?

Most of the singles today find love on the internet but how reliable is this? Some wants to find a husband who is loving but behind those are some motives which we all know it is because of money? Should love be taken like this because i have an aunt who is know entering online dating like her friends. All they do is find someone who want to marry them who have money. Some of there chatmates would send money, jewelry and etc. Without knowing that they been fooled. It hurts if they'll know. Love is something that must be taken seriously.

Like as in real life dating online a person can meet different people - honest, seeking love, seeking money etc. And like in real life one should be carefull and try to have more information before doing something like sending money ro jewellery.
