should d teachers also pass some test before getting d job at schools

yesterday, i saw it in the news that children are being harrased physically by the teachers for not doing their homework or not performing well at exams.. is this is why parents send their children to school??.....i think teachers should also pass some test before they are given the job. what do you think about this???and what kind of tests should be performed??

Nowadays teachers are all treating the students like this only.. and its a nice discussion. I think i need a test of kindness among the teachers is needed.. what do u say

Some Test criteria should be made mandatory for a person to be qualified as a teacher.
Now a days education system is losing its value (at Graduation level)
In Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), we have a rule that the teacher must be atleast B.Ed. i.e. Bachelor in Education.
While it is not the case with colleges..
Anyone can be a teacher there.. and we are the sufferers !

Yes, I think they should perform/do a test. My teachers in this country, Australia I think have to do test. I go to a Grammar school; so I think they research about the teachers before they hire them to work at my school. I think they should have a test regarding general aptitude and also behavioral tests before they actually hire the male/female teacher.

Teachers should be made to go through some rounds of test wherein they are given certain peculiar cases so that their way of tackling situations with children can be judged effectively!
