I Cut Back on Smoking!

I'm so happy!!! I usually smoke about a pack of cigarettes each day, but not this week. The funny part is that I had no intention to cut back at all. Instead, my goals were to drink more water and exercise. Well, because I am constantly drinking water I guess I don't desire a cigarette as often. I exercise when I first wake up in the morning so I have been skipping my morning cigarette and not smoking for the first 3-4 hours of my day.
Now I am only smoking 1/2 a pack each day. I really think if I keep this up I am finally going to be able to quit.

Keep up the good work.
Just remember there will be temptation to come back, since I've seen people became worst smokker if they are tied back to the old habbit.

I am proud of you, smoking is such a nasty habit. I remember when I was 13 and took my first smoke,,,,a guy walked by and said he kissing me would be like kissing a dirty ashtray. That cured me right there. Glad I never got past my first day smoking.

First of all I congratulate you on your achievement..But try to quit it fully...
U know I have started smoking in the year 2002 and after that tried many times to quit it...but the maximum time duration for which I could quit is 15 days...it is very dificult to quit smoking once you start it...
one advice for everybody:
"NEVER EVER START SMOKING IF U HAVE NOT STARTED"

That's so commendable! I think this world needs more people to cut back on smoking since our environment is already very polluted. Try to cut back some more. My husband did cold turkey on smoking about 3 years ago and he has never wavered. It was tough for a while but now he abhors it, even just the smell of smoke. Keep up the good work!
