Well it is a good system but the thing is even you are talented but you lose in the voting system, you're a losser, i think the organizer should give a litte percentage in judging of the contestant. If a contestant is really good let the board of judges see it in their own judgement. WE have here in our country the Philippine Idol, one of the contestant who came from our City was not able to enter the Finals since he was voted out and we think that he is good and very talented. We were disappointed , but we were also glad because the Grand Champion came also from our City.She is really good, she sounds like an international artist.

i think talent hunts should be there , otherwise finding a talent in the country for a country will be difficult about the way it cant be helped there will be some loopholes in a law .

no doubt about that but voting are divided by location,cast,gender etc.

I don't really see a problem with voting based on an emotional connection that you have with that singer. Also, the judges aren't likely to let anyone into the top 12 (or top whatever number they have on that particular show) who is _truly_ bad, so it isn't like someone really awful is going to win, either way. *laugh*

yes i agree wid ur stand on the voting system as its not fair
ma friend forced me so much so that i ended up voting twice though i was not interested, as i did not want 2 disappoint her
