Hey, I was wondering what firewalls there are in the world. I used Windows Firewall (sux), Bitdefender 10 (it's very good but slows my pc), Kaspersky (same), and Zone alarm. The last one impressed me the most. It doesn't consume to much memory and does a veery good job too. Any other firewalls that I should know about?

I don't have any firewalls installed at the moment. There are not so many people that attack here ... hehe. What about an external firewall? I heard that they are good, are they?

And doesn't your computer get slowed by Kaspersky? I had 384 mb ram and my computer was slower than ever. Since then I upgraded it to 1gb :) so now I can have one that consumes some of my memory hehe .

i think norton and zone alarm are best and powerful than any other software, i don't use mcafee because it slows down my pc.

I think ZoneAlarm is the best firewall. Better use Norton Internet Security. You don't need anything else to install.

I would advise you to have Sygate personal security firewall. I have it! No slowing problems! It would provide you better security. It asks me if any of the programs try to access the network, even IE and firefox. It automatically blocks suspicious traffic. Its small and powerful
